Legacy Empowerment Services GED Program Overview
Legacy Empowerment Services is committed to empowering adults with disabilities through inclusive education and personal development programs. A cornerstone of this mission is our GED/High School Equivalency Test Preparation Program, a subset of our traditional academic tutoring services. This program is designed to provide comprehensive support and foster lifelong learning for adults with disabilities who aspire to achieve academic success and pursue meaningful opportunities.

The GED Program is tailored to meet the diverse needs of adult learners, emphasizing accessibility and personalized instruction. To maximize learning outcomes, Legacy partners with Kaplan, a leader in education, whose high-quality study resources and expert instruction are seamlessly incorporated into our curriculum. This integration ensures a structured, results-driven approach that builds confidence and supports academic excellence. These tools, combined with individualized guidance, help participants build confidence, master key concepts, and achieve academic excellence.

While the program primarily focuses on High School Equivalency tests (GED), it goes beyond test preparation. Participants also develop foundational skills in reading, math, and English, as well as essential college and career readiness skills. These competencies are critical for transitioning to post-secondary education or securing meaningful employment.

Legacy’s program is recommended as a virtual offering, providing flexibility and accessibility for participants. We recommend dedicating at least two hours per week to ensure consistent progress and skill development. Through this approach, we ensure that education is within reach for every individual, regardless of their circumstances. By creating a supportive and empowering learning environment, Legacy Empowerment Services helps adults with disabilities unlock their full potential, equipping them with the tools and confidence to succeed academically and beyond.
