​Inclusive access to transportation is essential for individuals with disabilities. Legacy Empowerment Services provides reliable, flexible transportation to help participants stay connected, independent, and engaged in their communities.

Our Services Include:

• Rideshare transportation

• On-call phone line for transportation scheduling and support

• Door-to-door rides

• Transportation training

• Parent/caregiver drivers hired through Legacy​

For participants who may need additional support, transportation may include a caregiver in the vehicle.

Uber Health Partnership

Legacy partners with Uber Health to offer safe, dependable, and HIPAA-compliant transportation. We can schedule rides on behalf of participants, making this option accessible for those without smartphones or who prefer not to use rideshare apps.

What Makes Us Different

Legacy offers an on-call phone line and maintains clear, ongoing communication with participants and families. If issues arise, our team responds quickly. Participants and caregivers can call us directly to request or adjust rides—we handle the coordination and follow-through.

Common Trip Purposes

Work, grocery shopping, social visits, fitness classes, and community events.

Rates

• Rideshare: $4.00 per mile

• Legacy caregiver drivers: $3.00 per mile
