At Legacy Empowerment Services, we provide a range of transportation options to help participants connect with their local communities.
Why is this important? Access to reliable transportation is more than just a convenience, it’s a lifeline for people with disabilities. It gives them the freedom to participate in daily life, fosters a sense of belonging, and ensures they have equal access to their communities.

For those who need additional support while traveling or in the community, we also offer the option for participants to transport with a caregiver in the vehicle to the participants needed destination.
The specific Rideshare provider participants use will depend on their location, but our services are accessible anytime.
What makes us different? We’re proud to offer on-call services and prioritize clear, ongoing communication with participants and their families. If an issue arises, our team is able to address it quickly and efficiently.
For participants without access to a smartphone or who aren’t comfortable using Rideshare apps, we have a dispatch line. Participants can call us to book their rides, and we’ll make sure they reach their destination safely.

Our transportation rate for RideShare services is $3.45 per mile. The rate for caregiver drivers hired through Legacy is $3/mile.
